When The Redfords were looking for some new promotional shots for their (soon to be released) new website, they asked for recommendations for photographers on Twitter. The gorgeous Kat from Rock’n'Roll Bride mentioned to them that I’m based in Kent, I’m a wedding photographer and she’d happily recommend me. So they got in touch.
The Redfords aren’t your typical Wedding Band. They’re younger, cooler and more talented than most bands that I’ve seen. And they want their new website to reflect this. They had a definite feel in mind, they wanted “The morning after the heist in Ocean’s Eleven”.
Well, I think we’ve given them exactly what they wanted.
This is a sneak peek – my favourite image from the shoot, as they’re all laughing. We have many more images to share, of the band looking more serious, and some different group shots as well, as they also work as a trio and a duet. So cool Eliza! Aside from this being great for the band to get nice new shots for the website, isn’t it also awesome to do a shoot a little different from the norm and get out of your comfort zone?
Oh definitely! Doing a shoot like this, in a controlled environment with flash lighting etc is so different to shooting a wedding, where my style is far more reportage, and mainly uses natural light. Definitely a challenge, and such good fun.
